As a young girl, Chris LaMarco gained a love of design and the ability to make clothes from her mother. From learning to duplicate the fabric designs that she saw to having a thorough understanding of both the design and fabrication process, Chris was soon able to create window treatments utilizing her incredible talent. In 1987 she became an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers (A.S.I.D.) and founded Chris' Windows & Interiors in North Ridgeville, Ohio. We met with Chris and her husband Frank recently, and listened as she described the services Chris' Windows & Interiors offers;

Chris' Windows & Interiors specializes in window treatments, draperies, furniture shopping, pillows, bedding, and helping clients arrange their furniture to create a comfortable environment. Most of our work comes from previous customers and their referrals, and our service area includes Avon, Avon Lake, Bay Village, Elyria, North Ridgeville, North Royalton, Strongsville, and Westlake.

Frank and I work as a team. I focus on the design and sewing aspects of our business while Frank helps with measuring, fabricating the wooden parts of the window treatments, and the installation. Our van is filled with blind samples, fabrics, and materials, and we go to our customers' homes to discuss their design preferences and help them select the materials and colors that will best compliment their decor.

I really enjoy working with people and absolutely love to see them happy when we have finished their project. The heart of this business is the satisfaction I feel in being able to help our clients make their decorating dreams come true.
