Charles A. Weber, M.D.

Charles A. Weber, M.D. is a West Virginia native who realized very early in life that he wanted to become a doctor. During his third year of medical school at West Virginia University, Dr. Weber decided to focus his efforts on pediatric medicine where he could work with children while helping improve their lives. Dr. Weber performed his residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and in 1988 opened his own private practice. We met with Dr. Weber recently, and listened as he described the services his practice provides;

My practice is a full-service pediatric office working with children from birth until age twenty-one. As pediatric and adolescent medicine specialists, we offer everything from well child care to vaccines, neonatology, minor surgical procedures, sports medicine for local athletes, and everything in between. Our goal is to see each patient the day they call to enable them to avoid going to the emergency room when they are ill.

We have both a sick waiting room and a well waiting room, and strive to separate sick and well patients based on their appointment time. If I am running a little late, which I usually don't, we help prevent the spread of illness by having separate waiting areas for those who are healthy and those who are ill.

My daughters, myself, and other members of Vertical View Church in North Olmsted have recently completed an eight day medical and vacation Bible study mission to the Dominican Republic. Our family helps sponsor some of the children there so they can enjoy two hot meals everyday and receive a good education with new books. We love children, and after twenty years I still love the work I do.
